What Are The Types Of Switches?

In today’s generation, switches have become an art interpretation for many homes or offices. They were considered nebulous in earlier years but now they have been converted into fascinating designs. The aesthetic look of switches makes the houses or offices look modern and safe. There are so many switches available in the Indian market you can trust on but then again, they differ in their sizes, plans, and process. Now you can buy durable switches with fashionable designs that can uniform your picks.

Essentially, every electrical switch is an electrical network breaker that blocks the circuit essential for a bulb, fan, PC, appliances, or any other electrical product to work. The scheme of circuit breaking includes minor electrical sparking. If a switch is old or used in the wrong way, the sparkle can cause a huge fire flame.

Vensor, a leading manufacturer of electrical cable brings to you aesthetically appealing modular switches by maintaining a high level of engineering excellence. Vensor makes electrical products that are great in design and do perfectly under any situation and absolutely safe.

The company offer switches are:

Favit switches

Favit is an amazing compilation of switches that spring you the suppleness of installing them vertically or horizontally according to the available space. This smart modular switch range is considered by keeping expediency and security of users in observance. Most particularly, its present-day design with dual orientation allows them to fit beautifully without creating a disturbance on the interiors of your space.

ARTEMIS switches

Designed with perfect detail and rigor. These ARTEMIS Switches are made of FR Grade Polycarbonate material with Spark Shield technology to prevent shocks.

VINIXA switches

VINIXA switches are high quality switches well known for their aesthetic design and superior finish. This range of modular switches are cleverly intended to last long and enhance your interior walls. These VINIXA switches are a mixture of elegance, simplicity and sophistication.

Wide range of best quality miniature circuit breaker at Vensor

First let’s discuss the fundamentals – what is a miniature circuit breaker, what is MCB? An MCB is mechanically operated electrical switch. Miniature circuit breakers are planned to stop damage to an electrical circuit as an outcome of additional current. These are planned to outing through out asurplus or short circuit to guard against electrical burdens and apparatus failure.

MCBs are broadly used as insulating components in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.

How Does a Miniature Circuit Breaker Work?

MCB is started by an overcurrent - electrical current that surpasses a designated safe current and makes use of a relatively robust mechanical mechanism designed to minimise failures and false alarms. The surplus current causes the bimetallic strip within the MCB to heat, bend, and trip.

This releases a switch that moves the electrical contact points apart to confine the arc (electrical discharge). The arc is divided and cooled by an insulated metal strip called the arc chute.

The contacts close again once the fault has been fixed and the MCBs are reset. An MCB is intended to protect against both overloading and short-circuiting. These are noticed in a different way using separate procedures. Surplussafety is provided by the bimetallic strip using thermal operation, whereas short-circuit safety is provided by the tripping coil via electro-magnetic operation.

If the discharge is especially high, the MCB will trip (activate) very rapidly – within one-tenth of a second. When the overcurrent is closer to the safety limits, the component will be slower to respond.

There are a lot of manufacturers available in the market for manufacturing the best quality MCB. To choose best between them, might become difficult for one. Thus, here we suggest going for Vensor wide range of best quality MCB.

Add an extra unit of safety to your home by installing a miniature circuit breaker by Vensor to safeguard your home from overload.

What Are The Three Types Of Circuits ?

The conductive loop or path, which forms a network of Electrical Components for the flow of current or electricity is called Electric Circuit or Electrical Circuit. A conductive  wire is used to establish relations among sources of voltage and load. It consists of a device that's used to give energy to the charged particles constituting the current,  such as a generator or a battery , devices that use current or a load that has resistance and the connecting wires or the transmission lines.

There are following five main types of Electric Circuit :

  • Close Circuit - The load works on its own in the closed circuit. The value of current flow depends on its load.
  • Open Circuit- A faulty electrical component or wire in a circuit or when the switch is OFF it is known as an Open Circuit.
  • Short Circuit - When Both the points of voltage source in a Circuit get joined with each other for some reason it is known as Short Circuit. Under such a circumstance, Maximum currents start to flow.
  • Series Circuit - When two or more bulbs are connected to each other in a series it is called a Series Circuit. In a series Circuit, if one bulb gets a fuse the others will not work either.
  • Parallel Circuit - When two or bulbs are connected to each other in a parallel then it is called a parallel Circuit. In this Circuit, if one bulb gets fuse then the rest of the lights will still glow such as the Rice lights.

However,  in simple terms  circuits are of three types.  The Series Circuit,  the parallel Circuit and the Series - Parallel Circuit. It has some components of series and some of parallel circuits. Interior dash lights are a good example of Series parallel Circuit.

Whatever you need to make a good lasting circuit, the one stop solution to your needs is VENSOR ELECTRICALS, electrifying the Nation with innovative and top notch quality electrical products.
